Giveaway events and List Building

Like most internet marketers I am sure you are trying to constantly build your list.  One of the ways of doing this is to signup as a contributor for JV Giveaway Events

It is a very simple process and is great for adding names to your list on a daily basis.  You simply provide a free downloadable gift as a contributor.  This can be more or less anything you like from an e-Book, Software, Website Headers, PLR-Articles or any other free product that can benefit the members of the giveaway.  (It is important to make sure you have giveaway rights to the product)

The process is simple as A, BC and below are the three very simple steps you need to do  when adding your gift to a JV-Giveaway:

1.) Your Squeeze Page

With all Giveaway events you need to provide some sort of Squeeze Page with a signup form to your newsletter or opt-in list. One of the easiest ways of doing this is to take the sales page that comes with the product and add your opt in form.  See our Example Squeeze Page and also here

2.) Your Redirect Page

This is the page that people will be redirected to after they have signed up at your squeeze page. You have 2 options here: You can either create a “Thank You Page” with the download link for your free product, or you can use a “One-Time-Offer Page” as your redirect URL. Personally I always use the One-Time-Offer Page, this way I can make some instant cash from these giveaway events. Here is an example of an One-Time-Offer Page: Sample OTO Page

If you decide to use a One Time Offer Page as your redirect url, then you have to send out the download link for your free product with your first autoresponder email.  I personally use aweber as my autoresponder as do a lot of online marketers

3.) The Direct Download Page

Most JV Giveaways have an upgrade option for their members. When taking the upgrade option members can instantly download all the products included in the giveaway event. That’s why you have to provide a Direct Download Page or the url to your download file. If you do not provide a direct download, then your gift will not be approved in these giveaways.

Why You Have To Promote Giveaway Events As A Contributor

Most Jv Giveaway Scripts include a ranking system for the gifts. Every Contributor gets ranking credits through signing up new members and contributors to the giveaway event. In most cases you get 10 credits for signing up a contributor and 1 credit for signing up a member.

The gifts will be ranked upon the ranking credits. If you don’t signup anybody to the event, then you will not get any ranking credits and therefore your gifts will be at the end of the list.

That’s a great system!

Those contributors who signup new members and new contributors to the giveaway event will achieve a high ranking for their gifts and will therefore get a lot of new signups to their lists.

It is not hard to refer new members to a giveaway event because they can get hundreds of products for free. Signing up contributors is a little harder but if you have an established opt-in list, then this will be no problem for you.
